3-MBCF is used as a reactive chemical intermediate, especially for any chemical compound containing carbonate, pyrocarbonate, carbamate, urethane and others.
3-MBCF may be used in organic chemical and plastics manufacturing.

3-MBCF is combustible and should be stored away from direct sunlight and otherheat sources. Store drums in a cool, dry and well ventilated area to reduce fire hazards. Sec-butyl chloroformation should be stored at temperatures below 0 ¡æ to preserve assay.
3-MBCF should avoid contact with moisture, iron metals, salts, acids, alkalies, amines or alcohol.
3-MBCF should be transferred from its container to a reactor or storage tank through a closed system using teflon-lined steel, nickel or glass lines and valves.
Metal handling systems should be electrically grounded. KEEP ALL PIPING SYSTEMS CLEANAND DRY.
