2-Ply polyethylene (PE) anticorrosive adhesive tape is mainly used for outside anticorrosion project of the buried steel pipelines in petroleum, natural gas, chemicals, urban construction.And it has a widely application in the outside anticorrosion project about overhead metallic conduit. This product has such features as easy construction, no pollution, and therefore is the first choice of external corrosion protection of pipelines.
The backing of product is polyethylene film. The adhesive layer consists of butyl rubber and has excellent anti-aging, sealability insulation effect. In comparison with traditional products made by solvent spreading method, this product has the following features:
(1) Uniform adhesive thickness, and good sealing property.
(2) Big adhesion of base material and adhesive layer, and no peeling during storage or construction.
(3) High thermal-ageing resistance and UV resistance.
(4) High tensile strength and moderate elongation at break, helpful for mechanical and manual winding.
(5) It has varieties of all kinds, including anti-corrosive tape (Inner tape), protective tape(Outer tape), joint tape, anti-corrosive primer and construction machines and tools, etc.
